Atmospheric opening - nice horn. "1" good, nice flugel. "2" Well controlled, four bars after need better balance. "3" Precise cornets, not always in tune. "5" high B flat too sharp. "6" Good. "7" Good style and precision. Good basses after "8". "9" Works, not overdone. "10" onwards well handled good soloists. Triplets not always clear. Good fanfare cornets. "15" Not together. Good basses at "16" Troms also - can't hear baritones. "18" flows well, good euph line. Chords before "19" well balanced. Nice feel up to "20". Sweet cornet and euph, horn also does well. Good balanced sounds, very expressive playing throughout. Well handled by MD. "24" Not your best playing and needs better balance. "25" Good, works well through to "29". Troms not together. Good perc at "32", too many slips in troms. "37" Good. "40" not always together. Good bass before "43". Accel works to "45". Middle band too weak for balance. Super band sound after "46". Semis not always clean after "47". Impressive ending.

A well controlled performance overall, musical interpretation, with a good percussion section.
