Fest Music Der Stadt Wien

Very good confident start is made. Poco Calmo, cornet just a shade light in the balance. Very good dynamics noted. A fine start to your programme.

The Way We Were

Very good start by band. Flugel soloist has a great sound and plays with style. "C" a shade strong in the dynamic and style from the band. "D" Soloist again class is shown. Bravo. Well played.

Light Walk

Good mood change. Bravo cornet soloist. Style is very good. "7" could have been a shade lighter. Good playing and well directed.

Mid All The Traffic

Untidy first entry then fine slow playing. Fine euphonium work with a very good sound. Tuning into 2nd time bar was not good. (8ve cornets). Ending could have been softer.

Danes Polovtsiennes

Start could have been smoother and again we have tuning problems two bars before "A". "A" to "B" and "B" to "C" fine playing with good flowing tempo. "D" Build from timp could have been more impressive. Well played section with lots of drama. Presto fast but again very well played just the odd untidy moment. "O" untidy to start then again fine band playing.

A fine finale to a very good programme and performance. Bravo band, soloist and MD.
